California Privacy Notice (CCPA/CPRA)
Your rights over your personal information under California law
Scope
This page supplements our general Privacy Policy and describes the additional rights available to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), codified at California Civil Code § 1798.100 and following.
If you are a California resident, the rights described below apply to the processing of your personal information by DEVIL CLUB LLC. If there is any conflict between this page and the general Privacy Policy regarding CCPA/CPRA rights, this page prevails.
Personal information we collect
Over the past twelve months we may have collected the following categories of personal information, depending on the services you have engaged:
- Identifiers: name, email address, telephone number and mailing address.
- Commercial information: services engaged, order history and billing.
- Financial information: read-only bank account data used for monitoring and bookkeeping, and payment information processed by our providers.
- Tax and identification information: the data needed to prepare and file returns (for example, tax identifiers).
- Internet activity information: technical browsing and website-usage data, as detailed in our Cookie Policy.
Purposes of processing
We use personal information to provide and administer the services you engage, to meet our legal and tax obligations, to communicate with you, to handle billing, and to improve and secure the operation of the website. We do not use your information for purposes incompatible with those described here without informing you first.
We do not sell your personal information
DEVIL CLUB LLC does not sell personal information, nor does it "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA. We also do not sell the personal information of minors.
We disclose personal information only to the service providers strictly necessary to deliver the service to you (for example, payment processors or the Registered Agent), under contractual confidentiality and limited-use obligations.
Your rights
As a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know and access: request which categories and which specific pieces of personal information we have collected, along with its source, purpose and the third parties with whom it has been shared.
- Delete: request deletion of your personal information, subject to the exceptions the law permits (for example, where we must retain it to meet legal or tax obligations).
- Correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of sale or "sharing": although we do not sell or share your information, you may exercise this right at any time.
- Limit the use of sensitive information: request that we limit the use of sensitive personal information to the purposes permitted by law.
- Non-discrimination: you will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of these rights.
How to exercise your rights
To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected] with "CCPA Request" in the subject line. Before processing the request we will verify your identity to protect your information. We will respond within the timeframes required by law (generally within 45 days, extendable where necessary).
