Know where you are
before it becomes a problem

Every time you log into the dashboard, the system records the country you connected from. Without doing a thing, you build an orientation map of your presence by country — and we alert you when the pattern approaches the relevant tax thresholds.

How the tracker works
No forms, no extra app. Just use the dashboard as you always do.
1

You log into the dashboard

Every login or dashboard open is recorded with the IP of your connection — date, country, city.

2

The system infers days

If you connected from Paraguay on day 1 and on day 5, days 2, 3, and 4 are inferred as Paraguay. Guaranteed minimum.

3

You see your annual map

Visual calendar with days per country. You can add days manually for the ones you didn't open the dashboard.

4

Alert before the threshold

The system warns you when you approach 183 days in a country. Time to act before crossing the threshold.

An alert that works
while you travel
It's not a surveillance tracker. It's a coherence system — it alerts you when your movement pattern approaches thresholds that can have tax consequences.
📍

Passive detection

Every dashboard access records the country of connection. No forms, no apps, no action on your part. The data exists because you used the dashboard.

🔗

Minimum-days estimate

Consecutive days from the same country are inferred backwards. The result is always a minimum — reality can be more, never less.

✏️

Manual fill-in

Add days the system didn't capture — offline trips, weeks without connection. You control what goes in and what doesn't.

⚠️

Threshold alerts

Progressive notifications at 120, 150, and 170 days in the same country. Enough time to adjust before crossing 183.

Alerts with time
to act
183 days is the standard tax residency threshold in most jurisdictions. The system alerts you well in advance so you can adjust — not when it's already late.
ℹ️ Spain — 120 days detected. Within monitoring range. No immediate risk.
⚠️ Spain — 152 days detected. 31 days left to the 183-day threshold. Consider adjusting your travel.
🔴 Spain — 171 days detected. 12 days to the threshold. High risk of triggering tax residency. Consult your advisor.
🚨 Spain — 183-DAY THRESHOLD EXCEEDED. Tax residency exposure likely. Immediate action required.

What it is, what it isn't,
and why it matters
No. The tracker is a behavioral tool, not a legal instrument. Its job is to alert you when your presence pattern approaches problematic thresholds — so you can act before they become a problem. Real proof of residency is your primary documentation: passport, flights, lease agreements, bank statements.
If you use a VPN, the recorded IP corresponds to the VPN provider's server, not your real location. The data will be wrong. We recommend turning the VPN off before accessing the dashboard, or adding the day manually with the real location. The UI flags that data is IP-based and can differ if you use a VPN.
No. We only store a SHA-256 hash of your IP — irreversible, sufficient for the audit log but not enough to reconstruct the original IP. Country, city, and timezone are stored (those are the relevant evidence fields).
If the system detects you accessed from Paraguay on day 1 and from Paraguay again on day 8, it infers that days 2-7 you were also in Paraguay. That's gap-fill. It's called "minimum" because it's what the system can guarantee — you could have been there more days than the automatic entries show. Real days are always ≥ what the tracker shows.
183 days is the standard threshold in Spain, Portugal, Germany, France, and most European countries. In the U.S., the "Substantial Presence Test" applies, with a 3-year weighted formula. In Paraguay the threshold is also 183 days. The tracker uses 183 days as a general rule. For country-specific thresholds, consult your advisor or the Tax Atlas inside the dashboard.
Yes. Manual entry has no minimum-date restriction. You can backfill the tracker with days from previous years through the form in the dashboard. PDF reports (Manager) can be generated by year and you can export multi-year history.
No, it's an orientation report. Its value is giving your tax advisor a structured starting point on your presence pattern — not a substitute for primary documentation. Use it as a summary to have an informed conversation with your advisor, not as an argument before a tax authority.
Yes. You can request deactivation from your account or by writing to [email protected]. You can also request deletion of all data recorded to date. The presence log is opt-in and serves your control — not any other purpose.

You don't need to do anything special: the system records every access in the background.

Notice: This system records the country of connection based on the IP that accesses the dashboard. The data is used solely to show you your estimated presence and send you threshold alerts. The IP is not stored in plaintext — only an irreversible hash. You can request deactivation or deletion of your data at any time from your account or by writing to [email protected]. This tracker is orientation only. It does not replace the actual record of physical presence and is not tax advice.
